Time To Close Up Shop…….
As I was checking out blogs that I enjoy this weekend, I came across a blog writer that totally was bashing me.
I do not know her, and I just stumbled across her blog, thought a couple posts were interesting and enjoyable and I commented. I have no idea what I did wrong. I really think she thinks I am someone else. I truly am not a mean vindictive stalker.
She refers to me as a “hater” and I would hope those that have spent time on my blog know I am about kindness and love. Not hate.
I felt so bad about this, that I am shaking as I write this. I would never hurt anyone.
I started a blog, because I enjoyed reading them. Also as a recent cancer survivor I hoped I could give someone hope, and help them smile a bit through some trying times. I am a mother and grandmother and I enjoyed sharing some of my life with all of you. I have met some absolutely wonderful people out there, and I thank you for your wonderful comments.
I am crying as I write this. Feeling bad that I have upset someone. Again, I don’t know what I did wrong, but feeling like I do right now is not the feelings I wanted from blogging. So, I am saying goodbye.
I will continue to read my favorite bloggers………(you all know who you are), but I will refrain from commenting, as I would never want to take the chance I would offend you.
Bless you all. I will miss sharing some of the humor in my life. I will miss you.

I’m not sure what has caused you to feel such ownership of other people’s feelings, but I, for one, will be hurt if you leave! Don’t visit her if she’s going to be childish and not let you know if you’ve upset her, but don’t deprive yourself (or me) of your wonderful, witty, cute, funny blog. And as you said, maybe she is speaking about someone else. Or maybe she’s just a lunatic! Take some time to think about it…

HEY!!! I only just found you!! And you are the best of the best!! Please don’t take anything to heart. I think that I know what you are talking about and I didn’t understand why your comment made her upset… I guess she didn’t get it—-don’t know, but you HAVE to pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and start all over again!! There are those of us that love you for your courage and your wit and your devotion to others….please don’t go away. Maybe take a week or two off and then come back—-but—PLEASE keep commenting on mine—it makes my day!!

Ok, first of all Z, you are more woman than that. Seriously, you are going to let ONE person who took you the wrong way MAKE YOU STOP?
Um, no. You are a redhead, you have too much fire in you, and YOU SHOULD BE LIKE SCARLET AND FRANKLY MY DEAR NOT GIVE A DAMN! You are a wise woman and know its impossible to people-please in real life…. why should you do it online? Kick the dust off your feet and keep laughing. I can assure you, you provide a lot more sunshine to people’s lives than you do pain.
Also, this person who was upset by you must not have a thick skin. If that is the case, frankly, they should not be blogging. Unless you can handle a certain amount of criticism (not that you were criticizing this person) then WHY are you on the Internet, revealing yourself piece by piece for any random person to find you and pick apart the tiny segments you choose to reveal to them? Z, please don’t quit. Besides, I need your comments…. you’re one of my blogstalkers who is interactive!!

so so sorry that you got hurt. there is a minority of bloggers who fail to realize that there are real human beings behind these words on the screen, with feelings that can be hurt and hearts that can be broken. it’s such a shame that you had to had to experience that, but I hope you see that you have a good lot of bloggers who got your back!!!

NO! NO! NO!!! Exactly what everybody else has said. You can’t leave. You just CAN’T.
I think it’s part of blogger initiation. I first found a hilarious mommy blogger a few years back and never commented, because I didn’t have a blog and didn’t even know “how” to comment. One day this woman blogger wrote a witty little post about how a $5 stuffed toy had accidentally fallen into her stroller at a HUGE retailer checkout counter. She didn’t realize it until she’d gotten to the car with her 2 sleeping children and she didn’t return to the store with the toy. All of her readers wrote in supporting her and understanding that she had to make a choice. A few stray holier-than-thou readers suggested she was amoral for not returning the toy. I decided to comment. MY FIRST COMMENT EVER, in support of the woman who’d written the post, that sometimes we have to weigh our options and choose for ourselves. Another commenter called me out BY NAME that I was amoral AND was going to hell. I stumbled on this woman’s reprimand of ME and shook and cried, and couldn’t sleep… and ended up going back to that post a dozen times watching the comments. I ended up leaving a comment for her that said “thanks for the laugh today”. It took MONTHS for me to comment on any blogs after that. I finally decided she had no idea what she was talking about. I followed her link to her blog, and she was a real loser who presented herself to others as better than anybody else.
Please don’t go. This person who called you a ‘hater’ has no idea who you are.
