Senior Compliments

I work with seniors……………and let me tell you, they have NO problem letting you know what’s on their mind.
Senior: “Zelzee………..I see you got your hair cut.”
(Mind you, I have gone thru chemo and am wearing a wig…….but most don’t know that)
Zelzee: “Yes. It’s much shorter.”
Senior: “Well it’s about time you got rid of that frizzy shit.”
Thank you, I think…………………………….

Wow – you gotta love the senior citizens speaking their mind, and throwing in a cuss word for creative measure.

Love it! Can’t be honesty from someone who’s in their golden years and doesn’t worry about who they offend

Ah, the bluntness of the very old and the very young.

They are very bold and blunt, aren’t they!
I can’t wait to be old so I can say whatever I want…

I cannot wait to be a crabby old person who whacks people with my cane and yells at kids for being on my lawn.
Thanks for the laugh, Zelzee. I needed it today.

I used to take my son’s class to a rest home and we would sing for them and play games—they were so cute and LOVED it!
I love old-ER people! Heh, heh.

I can’t wait! CANNOT wait. What’ve they got to lose by saying whatever they want?

OMG!!! That reminds me of a time I was with some friends playing a recital for a retirement home. There was a man that kept covering his ears and yelling “Too damn loud, too damn loud”!!!

Ahh, the entitlement for living to be old!

LOL!! I take care of an elderly man too so I can relate so well to this.
And huggs to you for doing so well with all that you handle.

Oh my… brings back memories of when my MIL was in assisted living. Visiting her was always amusing.

Ha ha. If old age allows us to say whatever we want then bring it on. Oh, wait. Maybe not just yet.
