The heating pad doesn't seem to make the back feel much better but I love being warm. Always cold even when it's warm outside. Don't give up the heating pad, go get a massage. Mine has CHANGED my life. I just recently ran onto my heating pad in the closet and thought "Heh, I haven't used that thing in YEARS." I found her (I fondly refer to her as Dr Voodoo) after I'd battled back pain for years on my feet working retail, then sitting at a desk, then after the birth of my first kid, and I'd been to a specialist to find out WHY SO MUCH BACK PAIN (run on sentence?).
