The Heat Is On/Off
I am addicted to heat. No, not the hot, burning, passionate heat………….Wait! yes, I am addicted to that heat, but that’s not the one I am talking about.
Don’t go getting me off the subject.
Okay, every night I come home from work and retreat to
the ugliest chair in the world my recliner and turn on my heating pad.
BUT……………..
lately my lower back has been sooooo sore I can barely bend over to put on a pair of pants (no this is not where I insert a picture). My sister (the Wise One) was also addicted to heat……..thanks to Zelzee……but was also complaining of aching joints, so she stopped “heating” and has been feeling wonderful.
I decided I might as well give it a try, and see if staying away from the heating pad would help ease my aching back.
STOP! NO! ANYTHING BUT THAT!

So……………….I am very carefully removing my heating pad from the chair, packing it up and gently putting it away.
I better go now, and prepare a wonderful eulogy for my bestest, warm and fuzzy, comfort zone buddy.
I think this is where I start singing “Amazing Grace”………

I hope it works… I suppose it would be worth the loss if you ended up free of your pain. Maybe take a super hot bath instead?

Girlfriend, you need to get you an Easter medicine acupuncturist/ chiropractor!!! Mine has CHANGED my life. I just recently ran onto my heating pad in the closet and thought “Heh, I haven’t used that thing in YEARS.” I found her (I fondly refer to her as Dr Voodoo) after I’d battled back pain for years on my feet working retail, then sitting at a desk, then after the birth of my first kid, and I’d been to a specialist to find out WHY SO MUCH BACK PAIN (run on sentence?). He could do nothing for me. The Voodoo lady, though? She rocks my world.

Oh no! This is a sad story. I love a good heating pad because I’m always cold. I’m paying my respects to your old trusty.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! =)

I love heat also, but not when I am sweating like a pig and pitting the shirt that I have on.
Thats when I don’t like heat.
Good luck with your back, my dear…

I have the same problems. The heating pad doesn’t seem to make the back feel much better but I love being warm. Always cold even when it’s warm outside. Don’t give up the heating pad, go get a massage.

Um…Can I have it? It’s just going to go to waste, and I could use a good heating pad.
Hugs and Mocha,
Stesha
